This week, I’m presenting you the most British sounding American band: The Killers

The band formed in 2002, when, after seeing an Oasis concert, the singer Brandon Flowers decided that he wants to make music like that too. He was soon joinde by the other members and they had concerts in many Las Vegas clubs. The origin of their name is interesting: they are named after the drum logo in the video for New Order’s Crystal. They got international popularity with their first album, Hot Fuss, that was 5x platinum and they only boosted it with their second album, Sam’s Town. They’re curently working on LP No. 3.
